Jonas Salk wrote:Thank You Eric!! I heard a rumor that you actually made Mt. Lemmon with your bare hands, some spit, and some desert sand. Any truth to that rumor? slight exaggeration. he had some help from steve grossman, bob kerry, and scott ayers. but that was before the dark times. before the Sundering of the World.

Justin Headly did his first FA yesterday on an old wall with one old trad route. A fun 5.11. More to come on this wall.

This is a new 30M pitch on a wall that is not even in the book, but you will see it in the next one ten years from now!

It is archery hunting season so I am falling behind. El Nino has kicked in full force and we are getting everything that is moving through California. Glad the holidays were relatively mild with little rain. Winter is our wet season, 6 inches, but it can keep you indoors. Hit the gyms if weather is thwarting you attempt to get out. The Bloc and Rocks and Ropes are open.

Unfortunately, the Bloc is closed through the 10th for a comp. R&R is open and you can use your Bloc membership there for free this week.

Went up to Lemmon on a rest day and the dogs could barely walk through the snow. It was incredible!! Headed over to do some bolt replacement low on the mountain tomorrow. Gotta love mount Lemmon!

I'm in Surprise (west of PHX) for a couple weeks. What is the best way to get my hands on this book quickly at this point? Anywhere I can pick up a copy directly?

I'm looking to head down to Mt. Lemmon this week for the first time. Does anyone know what elevation the snow level is at? Also does anyone have any recommendations on crags to take beginner leaders too?

Hairpin area has some beginner leads. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Wall. First pitch of scorpion king is a safe 5.7 lead.
