If moat only choice for snowcave (i.e. can't make it further up to smaller rock "field"/mini-buttress" - white-out nasty - but more alternative sites, less objective hazard, likely less wind than NASA-type wind tunnel testing grounds) then would snow-cave it at blue circle. Seems best world between AI3/X (intense wind but easier entrance/exit; easily wanded (rim & cave location). Don't know about objective hazard from above, but what the hell.
