I would like so much this route to be retro bolted so I could climb it. This is the only route below 5.11 that I still have to send. Since my fingers won't allow me to climb anymore, I could at least check this one out and have this consolation prize.

You might get your wish soon, Eric. Seeing the comments reminded me of the unfinished job, so if it is not too sketchy with people below this weekend, I will try to at least get the rest of the bolts in, or maybe Monday. It is going on the top of the to do list over Giants Chimney.

That would be fabulous, Mark. I thank you now!! I have always wanted to check out the rock above the modern OC and Citrasolve. Post up before and after pics if you can.

Bolts are all in. See my notes on main page about use of slings and long draws to eliminate rope drag. It should be clean enough to climb, though could use another day of brushing and another once over for a couple loose things to bring it up to top condition. I did most of the trundling at night and forgot the camera the next day while bolting, so no before photos, Soon, sorry.

This was the only piece of gear between the belay and the first glue in at 25 feet off the belay.
Needless to say, it isn't in the rock anymore.
