Just so you know, the route actually goes up the crack to the right, then traverses around to the left under the big roof. I can see the big flake sticking out of the crack below the roof that added to the excitement. It really doesn't matter though as long as you were having fun. I've done both of those cracks and thought the one on the right way more fun, but to each their own.

Hi Christian, I can't argue with the guy who did the FA! :-) You might want to let Vogel/Gaines know? I'm just going by the topo in their guidebook. From the drawing, it looks like it curves left and ends at the cave. Aside from encountering the snake on the route, I was having fun! I'll try the other crack next time.

Right before the little "cave". The higher, bigger tree sits slightly below and outside of the cave. Cool feature, wish I had taken a picture when in there.
