Yes, yes it is.

Who else would obscure the condition of the link by hiding it with water-loving webbing?

These need to go the way of the washer stack anchors.

I suggest people cut the webbing off when they run into such.

The link pictured said "Mountain Dreamer." But yeah, the other hanger said Calderone. Same guy?

Tony has this route in his Little Cottonwood guide. He calls it "Broken", 5.9, 100'. He put it up in 2012.

Sweet hangers. Hope they don't break on a client when he's out.

Tony does some goofy stuff at times, but using those hangers is a bit out there even for him.

zoso, Of course it is...All hail the mighty spray lord!! I have cut of several off, I would like to see this practice disappear as well.
