Description Suggest change

Grow a Pear is an exciting line up the outside of the obvious chimney in the center of the rock. From a distance, it may not look like much, but when you get up to it, the route is steep, well featured, and very safe. Clipping the 5th bolt will test the rope management skills of new leaders. It is a great beginner lead or warm up for the other harder climbs around. Aside from directing falls in a safe direction, the draws keep the rope completely off the rock.

Bolt finding beta:
Near the bush after the second bolt, reach up and right to clip the third bolt above the first shelf. Move up and left left into the chimney and reach up and right to clip the fourth bolt. The crux is moving to the fifth bolt on the left wall, use wide chimney or stemming technique. The sixth bolt is on the right side of the crack higher up, and anchors back again on the left.
