Where is this one exactly? The Overlook spot north of Wedding Rock or maybe the West face of Wedding Rock?

Whoa! July? I missed this post...I was outside a whole lot last summer. That's the west face of Wedding Rock somewhere.

Cool!! I tend to spend a lot of time over there. I'm glad to see you were out there too. I think I listed 8 or 9 routes on the west face. There's a lot of adventure to be had over there. I was climbing over there a few days ago during a storm with 25' ocean swells. Most of the bigger waves were shooting up half the height of the wall, and one wave splashed up to eye level while setting up the anchor at the vista point on top of Wedding Rock!! That's a 120' splash. Incredible!!

There's an overhang at the base of the cliff that prevents the waves from shooting directly up against the wall, even at high surf, so we were able to climb most of the face with waves shooting 30' above us!! Below is a photo of Morgan in a more moderate surf. I think she is around where your photo was taken. I called the route "Fatuous," which means unknowingly foolish... Seemed applicable.. Let me know if you have any names for things down there.
