You sure it's only been climbed twice?

I didn't use the word only. I've climbed it once. I watched Alisa climb it. I wouldn't be surprised if it had been climbed previously. Do you know of any other ascents? It's pretty hard I think. A real boulderer should rate it. I'm not good with V grades.

We did two lines up there a long time ago(maybe 2003-4ish), one on the right arete, and the other following the generally good holds but steep line left of that up a crack feature. It seemed pretty hard at the time, but i couldn't tell you know what we thought.

Have you done a line up the left(steep wall) under the anchor of Chickenhead? I remember rapping off that way for some reason and seeing a possible short line there.

Pretty rad that Alisa climbed that boulder problem.

There is no crack feature on the problem I'm referring to. Hard face with a desperate dyno to the jug hold at the lip. Very difficult mantle onto the jug, then finish up the fist crack. I had soloed the duct tape crack, gardened out the jug, then came back down to try it. I fell several times. The landing wasn't fun. This was around '03-'04. Alisa was one of the most understated and badass climbers to come through the area. Respect.

Hmm. The dyno to thejug at the lip sounds right. Were the holds mostly right facing sidepull features? If I recall, I think we traversed off right as well and didn't top it out. About 14-15ish feet to the lip? and the ground sort of drops away a bit under you as well? at least when you're at the lip height

Maybe I'll have to go back up there again and check it out.

Yeah the landing is a tumbler.... I remember crimps and side pulls with horrible feet. Maybe? Many moons ago. Regardless, it's a classic problem with cool position. And the fist crack to the top is a fun finish. If you are into that sort of thing.
