It is definitely possible to top out and walk off, I did it once when I didn't have a rope. All I remember is it involved some pretty serious down climbing, like,... the first pitch of the original route. Since the raps are so chill, why bother hiking off?

It would be possible to hike/scramble off of this route. You can go up the rock in the background of this picture and then continue up the ridge for a few hundred yards before scrambling off to the right down into the gully. Then you have to bushwhack down the gully to get back to the base.

From the summit. I wonder if it's possible to add a full walk-off to this climb by doing another 40 foot trad pitch? Not sure why someone would do that but you know.. options.
