Dr. Joel Thompson, Board Certified Upper Extremity Surgeon, will be giving a presentation on the most common climbing injuries, how to identify them, how to treat them and how soon you should be
getting back to climbing. Pulley injuries, elbow tendonitis, rotator cuff tears: he is a expert on them all and
will present 3 case studies. A marathon Olympic Trials qualifier and former professional duathete, he still performs at a high level, being the 2014 age group Arizona State Time Trial Cycling Champion. Dr Thompson understands our drive and the demands we put on our body.
A Question and Answer session to follow.
