Mount Félix-Antoine-Savard is a 950 meter mountain located in the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie area in Charlevoix, Québec.

The spectacular steep east slopes of this mount are featured on just about every picture taken from hikers from the über-popular Acropole des Draveurs trail across the Malbaie River valley.

Climbing-wise, mount F.-A.-S. was first explored in 1976 by Claude Bérubé and his partner who climbed Le Triolet, the first WI5 route in the Québec province.

More recently, rock climbers have taken interest in mount F.-A.-S. and climbed La Félix-Antoine, a 400 meter friction slab reminiscent of Adirondacks Trap Dike.

Getting There

Drive to Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie provincial park.
From the main gate, ride a bike or take the free visitor shuttle to the Centre de servIces le Draveur (Le Draveur Visitor Center, 7.5 km)
A pedestrian bridge across the Malbaie river leads to mount Felix-Antoine-Savard base.
Take a left and walk 5 minutes until you see a small island in the river where it's time to cut in the woods heading towards the gully/scree slope.

À partir de l'accueil du parc des Hautes-Gorges, se rendre au Centre de services du Draveur (navette gratuite ou 7.5 km en vélo)
Traverser le pont au-dessus de la Malbaie et du barrage à pied
Tourner à gauche sur un sentier de randonneur, marchez 5 minutes
Quand vous voyez une petite île sur la rivière, piquez dans le bois en vous enlignant vers la goulotte/pierrier.
L'approche est simple pour les standards des Hautes-Gorges, seulement 1h15 en montant un pierrier du style de celui de Cannon Cliff.
