I know that outcrop and the rock quality is pretty poor. For that matter, all the outcrops along Wagon Tongue Gulch Rd. have pretty poor rock quality compared to the bullet hard rock in the canyon proper.

I can't remember the name right now. We did a couple easier routes on the blocky left side of the cliff. Some of the local tough guys here in the Springs have some 5.14 projects on the overhanging wall to the right.

I think the name that has stuck lately is Kanagawa, because of it's likeness to the famous painting of the same name. There's a few good trad routes of Stewart's on the left side, a 5.6, an 11, two mid 12s, 2 13+'s, and three 5.14 projects. They have all been called "hard for the grade".

Adam is correct, the rock quality is substantially less quality than that of the main canyon.

Anyone recognize this crag? It is just outside the canyon off of Wagon Tongue Gulch.
