Description Suggest change

The Grotto is a spectacular canyon sanctuary found just a short hike upstream from the logjam, where the trail meets the creek. This enormous room is part of the technical slot canyon know as Sundance Canyon. No matter how you enter the Grotto, whether you are crossing the creek or rapping in from Sundance Canyon's final 180 footer, the site and feel of this place is truly breathtaking. A tucked away gem in a beautiful canyon oasis.

Getting There Suggest change

Option 1: From the trailhead/parking area, hike downhill to the creek. At the logjam start hiking upstream for about 15-20 minutes, passing Resurrection on your left and then Birds of Prey on your right. After passing these two climbs continue hiking and look for a side canyon on the right. Cross the creek and enter the Grotto.

Option 2: Descend Sundance Canyon
