The highly featured nature of the Sunshine Face is what makes it so appealing to climb...but...there is a caveat: When you do fall, those cups, edges and irregularities make the slide anything but smooth.

It's all rather simple though if you simply refrain from falling, and you'll accomplish that by strict adherence to the fundamentals of slab climbing, like

not over-pulling with the fingers,

not reaching too high,

keeping your butt over your feet (AKA: "Stinkbug Style")

pouring all your mass into the newly planted edge

straightening the elbows when the feet start to slide

...things like that.

By keeping these behaviors in mind you'll forget about the 20 feet between bolts...or not...
