Hi, I'm new to this forum. My husband and I are traveling to Moab at the end of March (27th-31st) and are hoping to get in a lot of climbing time! I'm pretty new to outdoor rock climbing, and my husband has only done it a handful of times. We usually climb at a gym (we climb about 5.11s). We are wondering the best way to plan our visit. Guides are so expensive, but I'm worried about being able to figure it out ourselves safely.
So my questions are - 1. Anyone want to climb with us?? 2. Anyone know a good guide? 3. Would it be possible and safe for us to climb on our own?

Hey Emily, I would stick to the bolted routes on potash road. FYI-They can be harder than listed and they look. The spacing of the bolts will help you make a good decision on what to climb. The crack climbing should really be left to folks willing to spend the time outside and learning to place gear properly (although it comes pretty quick when dealing with sandstone cracks).
