121 1/2" stainless steel bolts were placed/re-placed at Mickey Mouse yesterday. HUGE thank you to all 37 volunteers and to OSMP for their support in this event. New bolts placed included the main rappel route between Middle and North Tower, the anchor above P2 of Green Dihedral, and the anchor on P1 of Simian's Way. These all replaced sketchy tat anchors. Everything else was a replacement. No new lead bolts or anything like that were added. Permits were approved for everything (replacement and new additions). Every bolt from Monks in the Gym up the hill to Lifestream was replaced. To clarify, Industrial Wall and the Upper Area (aka East Ridge) were not replaced. Also, fixed pins were left; none of them were replaced with bolts or anything like that.

A big thanks to everyone that attended and made this happen. Great community of climbers and non-climbers to pull off these projects.

What a great event! Thanks to everyone who turned out. It was inspiring to be able to work with and mentor other climbs on best practices and get feedback on current sustainable bolting methods.

Scott Massey and Evan Howell working on installing new bolts on the anchor atop "Mighty Mouse."

Chris Weidner and Ian King taking a well deserved break after finishing up re-bolting their respective lines.

Thank you Thank you. Those were nasty rap anchors.
