Trail Day is the Friends of Muir Valley's annual service and fundraising event. Come out and join other volunteers and spend the day completing vital maintenance and infrastructure development projects in Muir Valley. Once done, dinner is served and a raffle and silent auction is held. This is a very special year for FOMV: we have the opportunity to take over ownership of Muir Valley if we can meet certain goals laid out by Rick and Liz Weber, the owners of Muir Valley. Receiving ownership will guarantee Muir Valley will remain free and open to the climbing community for perpetuity. Because Muir Valley is one of the most highly used climbing areas in the US, the transfer of ownership to FOMV would be one of the most significant in the history of climbing. Foremost of these goals is the challenge to fundraise $200,000 by year's end. This is a very lofty challenge but one that FOMV has taken on. As you can imagine, the fundraising success of Trail Day is critical.
