Free solo on The Naked Edge

I watched a guy free solo The Naked Edge yesterday. I've never seen a hard route soloed and it was pretty amazing to see! He just looked so casual (thankfully!!) and in such perfect control that it wasn't even scary to watch, it was just cool to see such a display of physical and mental control. He had no idea I was watching so there was no ego or show boating going on. No one else, that I was aware of, saw him up there.
Just thought I would comment on a pretty cool thing that I was able to witness in Eldo. I know the climbers name but I won't use it today because maybe he doesn't want this to be a public event.
I wonder how big the list of people is that have free soloed the Edge?
I can only think of:

Jim Collins
Derek Hersey
Rolo
Charlie Fowler??

Alex is still in town, I think. From what he's had to say in the past, I don't think he'd care one way or the other if he did it and people knew.
He'd be my primary suspect for who was up there.

Add Mike Hankins to that list...

I know of at least one other, but I won't say as I don't know if he would want it to be a public event! (This would probably be about 30 years ago, before my time as a climber, but he was a well known hard climber of that era and there would be no question as to whether he did it, from what I know of his reputation and established climbs. There may be some or many others for all I know.)

Mic, How may times have you soloed the Edge?

I should have put Mic on the list but I don't know him, I've only seen him solo by me in Eldo :), so I wasn't positive if he has done it or not.

More times than he's barfed on the 3rd?
That's actually why we call him "Sick Mic" you know!

So you don't want to just say Alex Honnold?

Not Alex or, yes, I would have just said it.

m-earle seems to know what he's talking about.

I heard Alex Honnold soloed the Naked Edge with bacon grease on his fingers and wearing approach flops. Whoever was up there is horribly reckless and surely going to die - almost as dangerous as doing speed records.

That is totally what happened. The OP thinks he was the only one who saw it go down, but I was there too!! I got this super rad photo, check it out.....

Just once on the Edge. It was during a mad summer that also included solos of C'est La Vie, Kings X, Tagger, Outer Space, T2, and more. What a world.

(thanks Tony... I'd almost forgotten being talked into the 3rd with you guys after a large lunch)
