Is that a positive addition or not? As of 01/23/06 Tom Slater was indicating that there is a bolting ban at Wagon Caves. Also, is that corrosion on the underside of that "new" bolt? If so, that isn't a good sign at all.

The rock is choss although cool huecos . It could use a few new top rope anchors and some traffic. The lead lines are bolted sparsely . Run out on thin layer of flaky rock and lichen. If bolted a little safer spaced at like 6 ft I would lead the 5.9 sport route there (something like sirens?...). I don't think the corrosion is super bad but yes its there. The area is gorgeous. If cleaned up nicely could make a cool crag. I'm not sure about how solid the whole formation is in it's essence. It needs to be cleaned to tell for sure.
