Description Suggest change

A quarter mile long limestone band that ranges from 30ft to 250ft at its tallest point. It has a long approach (1 to 2 hours) but it is well worth it. The rock quality is good and the views are even better. With the area being more remote, it has an apline feel to it. There are no topos for the climbs and the ratings are ballparked. You just walk the base before the band starts to turn more north facing and look for bolts. Descriptions of climbs will be added as they are developed.

Getting There Suggest change

Follow the travel map provided.

From I-15, take exit 47 for McCammon. Head east on US-30 then turn left onto US-91 S. Take the next right onto E Harkness Canyon Rd. Follow for 2.7 miles. The dirt road is well maintained and can be easily done in a passenger vehicle. Park at the pullout on the right side of the road just down canyon from the trail. Hike upcanyon about 200 yards until you see the ATV Boundary Trail to the right. Follow the trail up the ridgeline about 2 miles until you the trail begins to turn away from the crag. At this point, turn off the trail and make your way up the hill to the south side of the rock formation. It is another 0.5 mile to the north side. The hike takes about 1.5-2 hours without an ATV
