Long shot... but anyone in Boulder looking for 2 rad female climber roommates?

Hey all,
My climbing partner, Emma, and I are two young professional and fun females looking for housing. Come Aug 1 we will be homeless (oh no!). We have perused Craigslist tirelessly for a few months now, but have not found anything that matches our criteria for living.

What are we looking for: individual rooms in a quiet neighborhood either just for the two of us or with roommates. We are not partiers, but we are very outdoorsy and active and we would like similar roommates. We are both looking to spend around ~$700 in rent and utilities but have wiggle room if we find the perfect place/roommates. We both have steady incomes. With the house, Emma would love a backyard that she could garden in and beyond that we are just looking for something comfortable.

Emma's educational background is in science and ecology and I graduated from Penn State with a degree in communications. Emma cycles, does yoga, and climbs (classic Boulderite :) ). I climb and work... that's about it. We practice healthy lifestyles and eating habits, don't drink much, and very occasionally partake in 420 although it is not a common habit.

Please respond to this post or shoot me and email at ebeth.reegs@gmail.com if you can help us out. Advice is welcome also.

Please and thanks,
Liz

EDIT: finally heard back from OP, must have been a coincidence.

We would like at least a year long lease. The $700 mark would be for each of us (so $1400 total).

Thanks for your replies... still lookin :)

At a $700 budget you should be able to find a place. Craigslist has always served me well for finding Boulder rentals.

Also, JasonP is a douchebag. Pay him no attention.

Good advice.
The Camera and Weekly also have online ads, but the landlords I know now (self included 3x over) now mostly list on CL. If you can't find something ideal yet, you can get a cheap sublet near the hill until Aug and keep looking.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding a decent or even pretty nice 2 bedroom for $1400. Good luck!

If you have searched CL for months and not found anything for that price, you should lower your standards a tad. There are a good 2 dozen posts on the first page that have 2BR for less than $1400. And that's not even all of today's listings.

Several 3 BR for less than $1400, too. At those rates I would just bite the bullet on the quality of the housing, and turn the 3rd BR into a climbing room. Build yourself a woodie and get an old mattress. The worst would be trying to fall asleep and hearing your friend climbing the wall and falling.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
