Hi Benjamin, really the only impressive part of this photo op was the 22 mile backpack to get in to the lake... Two of these goats walked right up to us when we were fishing, obviously looking for hand-outs. Then back in camp one came snooping around and when we yelled, threw pebbles and chased it away it looked deeply offended. I think that was the same summer a guy had been gored to death by a goat in the Olympic Nat Park so it was all a bit sobering too.

The best part though was the next day when my daughter was leading a 5.5 pitch up a ridge above camp, and after pulling the crux move she discovered a large clump of goat hair caught in the middle of a very exposed and steep slab/crack. Now that was impressive.
