Description
North Bend State Park in Cairo, WV offers several developed crags to climb at and unknown amount still to be found and developed.
It's hardly ever crowded, but you'll run across other climbers from time to time. The rock is sandstone and quite skin friendly. Quality of rock is runs the whole spectrum.
Most types of climbing can be found here: trad, top rope, bouldering and a few sport routes.

Getting There
Located in the north-west section of West Virginia, North Bend is easily accessible from U.S. 50 which stretches across north central West Virginia from Parkersburg to Clarksburg.
Driving east, take U.S. 50 to the junction of WV 31 (21 miles from Parkersburg, WV).
Take WV 31 to Cairo and follow signs to the park. (8 miles)
Driving west, take U.S. 50 to the junction of WV 16 (42 miles from Clarksburg, WV).
Take WV 16 thru Harrisville and follow signs to the park. (9 miles)
Driving east, take U.S. 50 to the junction of WV 31 (21 miles from Parkersburg, WV).
Take WV 31 to Cairo and follow signs to the park. (8 miles)
Driving west, take U.S. 50 to the junction of WV 16 (42 miles from Clarksburg, WV).
Take WV 16 thru Harrisville and follow signs to the park. (9 miles)

Campgrounds:
North Bend has two campgrounds.
River Run campground is closest to the all the climbing except for sunshine wall. Both tent and campers/trailers. Shower house, water spigot, firewood and small items at check in station.
Cokely campground has tent and campers lot, shower house, firewood and washers
and dryers.
There is also the lodge.
Places to eat:
Shemps Cafe. In Cairo, offer all types of food. Excellent Pizza and Wings.
