I always use shoulder length slings at the chains to make cleaning easier, reduce rope drag when lowering, and limit wear on quickdraws. Usually it doesn't make much of a difference; however, in this instance I believe it worked to my advantage. If memory serves I was able to clip the chains lower off a sloper before doing the last moves.

Totally changes the finish on this very short route by negating the last move. Standard draw or trad draws not opened up and you would have to make the last move to the anchors before clipping. A good safe whipper can be taken if you fail to make the move to the clipping holds.

Desperate moves lead to the chains, which I shamefully grabbed moments later.
