Looking to hire a travel writer for some work! Anyone looking to extend their dirtbaggin'?

Hey folks,

SO, hopefully this is something that might help some folks out here.
I've spent plenty of time pulling and living in the dirt on my cross-country and cross-hemisphere trips, and it totally sucks to have to stop a trip to get back to civilization to work for a while to get more cash.

Well, hopefully I can kill two birds with one stone here - I'm looking for a travel writer to write some cool-ass articles about a number of cities around the world, and you want to extend your road trip. Let's work this out!

Off the bat I'm looking to pick up a number of folks for a little friendly write-off, then I'll hire the person who seems to be doing the best work. Whoever wins that (everyone will get paid for their time) we're willing to pick up for $1000 worth of work. Hopefully that will keep you fed and happily in the dirt at Hueco or Jtree or Chatty or if you're lucky (this would actually be a big plus!) in Oliana or or somewhere else that's massively rad this winter (if you need any beta or hookups in Argentina for some Patagonian action I can provide it free of charge, I have plenty! Plenty of time in Frey and I know tons of folks who roll through Chalten, though the season is getting a bit late for the big stuff...).

One other (important) factor is that this is for digital marketing, so there will be some parameters (keywords that will be mentioned a number of times). However, I'm not looking for writing tools. I'm looking for you to write some cool stuff you're psyched on, within some parameters. You're a writer, and I'd prefer that you practice your craft as much as possible, as opposed to have me give you a lame template to fill out.

So essentially the deal is:
1) We're looking for travel writers.
2) This action is totally remote. I would like to hire someone for a chunk of work, with possible recurring work as well, but I don't care where you are.
3) You can totally chunk this work to fit your schedule - while you're going to need the internet at some point for me to provide some feedback, etc, I understand that you're a climber first (me too), so we can work it out.
4) I'm actually looking for someone who can write. There will be a trial period, but assuming stuff works out well, we will definitely bring you on for $1000 (paypal if you would like), and there very well may be recurring work.
5) You have to be interested in travel and stuff that normal folks are interested in - this is NOT a request for climbing-only articles, though one or two might be good. We're going to be targeting travel writing in some big cities, so you're either going to have to have spent some time in cities in the past and have a feel for what urbanites like, or at least be able to fake it well! I'll be guiding you on topics though. Really your writing is the biggest thing.

SO, please get at me! AND include two past writing samples!

Cheers, psyched to hear from everyone!

Coincidentally I am in need of a spare chunk of change. I am surely interested in travel writing for you. I wrote a few posts on here you can look at as "sample writings". PM if you think I am your man!
