fifteen below zero here today, wind chills below minus 40. Fingers freeze on my outdoor wall, and it's even too cold to go ice climb in this weather. Home sucking down beers instead. That's my day until it get above 10 degrees at least.

Seasonal choices: 1) ice climb as often as possible. 2) go downhill skiing when I can afford it. 3) maybe snowshoe hike if the snow ever gets deep enough and doesn't melt out in 48 hours as usual. 4) go to an indoor gym if I have to. 5) IF it gets over 55 and dry, maybe go find a rock to climb, but they are 200 miles away. Simple choices for me.

we were out at the gunks this past sunday its warm enough for some rock today.

I've been climbing rock on the other side of the valley from the Ouray Ice Park all season. Including Christmas Day.

Climbed the gunks today. Plenty warm, but there was some water in the cracks... Better than nothing.

Bouldered a wee bit this afternoon. Forecast for tomorrow is 9 Celsius and sunny all day. :P
