Description
The Exercise Yard is a short, featured, overhanging face on an isolated formation. The routes are nice warm-ups for the harder lines on Jailhouse Rock or as projects themselves. Since the routes are 100 yards further downstream most climbers never venture to this short cliff.
Getting There
Follow the dry riverbed past the Dragon Tower and Guard Tower. When you reach the Cell Blocks bypass the riverbed drop-off by moving up and left past the Mr. Meanor Wall. Continue following the riverbed until you reach the short overhanging isolated formation known as The Exercise Yard.
