There is going to be a New Years fundraiser, raffle, climbing swag, food, margaritas. All money supporting the dogs in need! Thanks, Ope.On Facebook it's the "Fiona Animal Rescue", please donate anything you can. To climb at the Potrero is to also fall in love with a lot of unfortunate dogs. Such a sweet add on to your EPC Report freeope. |

Its official, I'll be heading down to Potrero via bus around the 22 of December untilearly January (7?) |

Cool pics, Danny. My dog looks a lot like your chico. My dog is Lola's brother. We adopted him in October of 2008 and he was probably born in Jan or Feb of 2008. |

Hi Austin Climbers, |
|
Welcome to Mexico guys. If you are ever found without a partner just post on facebook's climbing groups populated by great people and great climbers. A lot of us speak English and we are more than willing to practice it while doing a few good routes. |

Hello! |
|
I'll be down there, likely staying at la posada, Jan 24th-Feb 6th. Similar pursuits as others in these threads, looking to do the moderate classic multi pitch lines, as well as taking advantage of the harder classic single pitches I didn't last year. |

Left Monterrey via bus around 5:30pm Saturday and our bus has been stuck at the border at Laredo in traffic since 8:30pm Saturday (time now is 10:30am Sunday). If you are planning on driving back I would recommend crossing elsewhere. It looks like it will take well over 24 hours to get back to San Antonio. |

If you come to Potrero and want to climb some steep tufas this new area on the way to El Salto has twenty new routes climbing golden tufas and stalactites out roofs: |

Mark, |

I'm driving to Potrero from Vegas as soon as I can find either a passenger or another car to convoy across the border with. I can pick you up or meet anywhere along the way! |
|
What's it like in early April for climbing at El Potrero? We're thinking of heading down there over spring break. It seems like most people are there over the winter. |
