Description

Highest summit in the Massif des Ecrins.
You will also find le Dôme de neige des Ecrins, which is a 4000m summit, very easy.

Getting There

From Briancons drive on N95, once in L'Argentière-la-bessée take the D995 to its end at Pré de Mme Carle.
Park there and start your ascent !

Careful, some routes start on the other side of La barre des Ecrins.
