Description
This is a shady crag above Pass Walls and Die Hard slabs. It has the same quality granite that makes up the rest of The Pass. This wall gets all day shade and just enough of a breeze that mosquitoes are rarely a problem. It's a new crag, so don't expect everything to be immaculate, but countless hours have gone into cleaning and trundling, and the vast majority of holds have been cleaned with a fine tooth comb. The upper crag features dead vertical to extremely steep climbing. Route lengths range in length, but a 60m rope will see you to the ground with cord to spare.
Getting There
Go up the talus field looker's left of Pass walls trending to the left of the Die Hard approach. Follow cairns up slabs staying of the left hand side of the drainage. Once you get to the fat, skinny cairn, go right to get to the Underlook and left up the Rib again following cairns to get to the Overlook (the steepness is hidden by trees but should be an obvious chunk of rock.
