The belayer really should never stand here directly beneath the leader. Not a good idea especially without a helmet!

No he shouldn't, not really anywhere else to stand, steep and slippery loose dirt around a very small "ledge", not good belay set up. And my fault no helmets, before leaving I said, "Going to try short, established sport routes. We don't need helmets." Lesson learned.

One more bolt, then the chains. Loose rock everywhere on these last moves, almost took out the belayer.
