Does anyone know what this variation goes at? It felt a little harder than the original 5.7 to me - but it's hard to know. Sometimes 5.7 feels hard in the tetons.

I just did what sounds like the direct variation you describe. Did you encounter a bail rap station midway up it? I basically went left on the black face to the large black flake fairly low down and went straight up from there before traversing up and right from the bail station. My friends that followed said 5.10b, but it's always hard to tell at altitude. I haven't found any beta in it except for your one photo.
