Description
By some considered the best of its grade in the whole of the Frankenjura. If you're into endurance routes, then you'll probably love it too. I'm still pumped a day later from this route!
It truly is a nice route. Wolfgang had a knack for picking out classic face climbs. It starts with good 5.10 climbing up until about the 3rd bolt where it gets into 5.11 as you head up and left towards a shield and a crack, but you should try to rest before heading up to the 5th bolt (which is at the start of the crack). From the 5th bolt there's some 5.12 climbing through the overhang, which leads to a slabby finish.
