The Powerhouse fire which began on May 30th and burned 32,008 acres, north of Texas Canyon, near Lake Hughes & Elizabeth Lake. The fire required 2,100 firefighters, and cost $21.4 million to finally bring under control. Another close call. Be careful out there.
