Partner Wanted - May 4/5 + Boulder hotel recommendation
Hey everyone, |
Third Flatiron is closed through July for raptor nesting. First is still open. |
Thanks for the heads up, Fossana! |
BUMP for trying to find a partner (at least for CO springs, have some interest for First Flatiron) |
I recommend the Boulder Outlook hotel. |
Cross-posted this to SuperTopo and upon recommendations there went ahead and booked at the Boulder Outlook. |
It should be dry enough by friday, considering the snow's melting rate by the groundheat. It'll definitely be dry by sunday though. |

Speaking of outlook on things, how long does it take for First Flatiron to dry out enough for a jaunt up First Flatiron's Direct Route? I was hoping to get on it Sunday... Thanks again, everyone!Once the sun comes out, it doesn't take long to dry out those big East-facing exposed faces... You should be good to go by Sunday for sure. Might be a bit of slush/mud on the approach/descent but faces should be good to go by Sunday. |

Well, at least it's a 1/2 placement....better than a 1/4 I suppose? |
