Description
This is a cliff band of high quality stone west of Monte Vista. Most of the routes here are baking in the sun in the morning. It is as secluded as it gets. The bouldering here is great as well. There are pictures and descriptions of all established routes and boulders available at 27crags.com/crags/the-pharc….
Getting There
From the stop light in Monte Vista, head south to Lariat Road and follow this road to a sharp left turn. Here you go right onto the smaller road for about 4 miles crossing a couple dried up stream beds till you hit an intersection of 4 roads, keep heading straight at this intersection and go over a small hill to a gate that blocks the road. Park here and hike up the closed road half a mile to the cliff.
