Description Suggest change

The Kjerag massiv, which is located in Lysefjord, is ca. 5 km long and about 1,000m reaching straight out of the water. Kjerag is made up of high quality granite and is home to numerous big wall routes along with some of the worlds longest ice/mixed routes. The area is best known for Kjeragbolten and for BASE jumping and high-lining above the abyss.

Getting There Suggest change

Either drive from Stavanger (ca. 2 hours) but note that the road is closed in the winter. Or take a ferry to Lysebotn. It is usually possible to hire a boat to the bottom of the wall, or bribe some BASE jumpers to get you there.
