Does anyone know of any climbing near Nathrop, CO? Is there a guidebook for the area?

There are some nice boulders known as the Nathrop Blocks just east of the river. From 285, you take CR 301 to CR 300. This area is covered in the Bob Horan Colorado Bouldering guide book, which is how I found it. There is also the Chalk Creek boulder, which is just past the Princeton Hot Springs.

Might be a little late but there is tons of climbing in Beuna Vista. Most of it is listed here on MP. There is also some climbing on highway 50 about 30min East toward Canon City.

Thanks!

What about temps in late March? Too cold? Climbing on southern aspects?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
