Well i will keep it simple, i have been preparing to live out of a van and climb full time,so in good fashion i sold my car and any unnecessary belongings, and of course its my luck that my partner backed out, i am looking to join anyone who is out there(or planning on it) i will be able to contribute to the cause. since i no longer have a car i will only be able to help with gas and driving responsibilities. i dont care where we would go, what we climb, just as long as it is climbing.

I hope there is someone that can see this because i cant wait much longer to get it started

thanks
brennen

Hitch a ride to Joshua Tree. Plenty of partners, good winter weather, and pretty accessible without a car (from what I've heard). I'll be there for about a month without a car! Cheers.

Hitchhike, its easy and free. Just make sure you're always polite and try to be a fun person to give a ride to. We want to give hitchhiking a good name.

Hitchhike?
Then carry a weapon. 1911 .45 should be adequate.

dirtbags never have partners until they get to where they want to climb

Assuming that the OP even has a permit to concealed carry, you are more likely to die in a car crash while hitchhiking, than to be picked up by a serial killer.

Find a ride to J-tree and stay in Hidden Valley. guaranteed you'll find cool partners if you're willing to socialize.

If you take these folks advice and go to JT this time of year be prepared to freeze your ass off as soon as the sun goes down.

My advice would be to bus it down to Mexico where you won't freeze and you can climb long bolted routes up to 23 pitches. Camping is cheap or free, food and beer are cheap, the locals are friendly and you won't have any trouble finding people to climb with.
