Anyone interested in meeting up at either places a couple of those days? If not, what are the chances that I'll find people there in the middle of the week if I go?
There are usually a few folks in the boulders during the week this time of year. Have you never been to either of these boulderfields? The guidebooks are excellent and as long as you have a pad, there's no real need to have a partner. The landings are safe and there are plenty of good problems in all grades that even if you didn't see another soul the whole time, you'd still have an awesome day bouldering!
Thanks, Brad! I've never been to either of these areas. I'm still fairly new to bouldering, so I wasn't sure if I should be worried about the landings. Do you know the best place to get these guidebooks?
Or, you can buy the respective guides at either of the climbing areas, i.e. the HP40 guide is for sale at HP40, and the Stone Fort guide is for sale at the Stone Fort.
