now that looks perty! how difficult/dangerous is the R part below it?

The R part is the pitch after this. Insecure climbing up a groove with bunk gear. I never mustered a lead, but followed it and it is hard. Climbing below this is not R-rated but getting to the first bolt could be dangerous if you don't take your time and find some gear. You could also take some larger than average (but safe) slab whips on the first pitch.

Hey Clay! Remember the very start of pitch 1 was dicey too? One shallow .5" cam placement until you got to the little roof before the first bolt. :)
