I got schooled bad at The Voo, but your recommended climbs were fantastic. Climb and punishment was particularly memorable. Then ran to wild iris for warm hugs and good times. Got a gold big bro #5 on my Sierra trip, ready to try and lead supercrack at the forks (not big hands at the creek, the Other supercrack!) give a shout when you are up!

10mm static rope tied in a 3 wrap monkey fist is about the size of an BD #5 at 80% retracted range... so a about a fist and a flat hand stacked wide( for my hand size anyway).

For all I know, it hadn't been done in years before I went up to replace the anchor, I could see a ten foot ratty sling hanging from the single anchor point left connected to anything, and I foolishly thought ankle coverage called for the "clacky" board-lasted TC Pros, which don't smear for shit. Lesson: be able to smear on wide cracks. 20 footer on a new 5 trying to smear on black glass in hundred degree weather in direct sun. Fun stuff.
