No, that's not an anchor. If you are not going to girth hitch those heads, at least weight them. Maybe consider equalizing?

jeff its a walk up 5.7 no need to weight the anchor? you should spend more time worrying about yer tick's an posts ? don't point some shit out in one of my profile pick's .. i looked at yer profile? an i can't see any thing that lead's me to believe that you are some kind of badass? you come up to the 4 corners an i would be happy to show you some 2nd rate routs! an u can show me how to equalize an anchor on some real trad CO 5.7 NOT AZ 5.7 ? big diffidence !!! so pack some dream catchers an crystals an come on up in one of those pink jeep's (that i know you role around town in) an let's climb!
