Description Suggest change

This is the first crag you will see after climbing the trail. When you first arrive at the rock you will see a bouldering area which could provide for a few hours of fun. It is covered in graffiti that will make you happy that this culture is less prevalent in other areas. Take a short walk to the left and you will see two distinct cracks with a boulder that creates the best belay spot known to man. There are five routes in this area with more that are less climbed on the trail that continues to the left below the boulder. -Lani Wilson 2012

Since this is the first sector to be climbed on, the bolts were originally formed of pegs hand-drilled by self-taught Guatemalan climbers using makeshift gear. -Alejandro Galindo 2017

Getting There Suggest change

If you are coming from Julios Store you will need to go up to sector 3 and then walk down to sector 4. Use the approach view picture to guide you. This will be the easiest and safest way to get to sector 4 unless you like scrambling on bushwack.
If you are coming from the road then this will be the first sector you will find. The trail is a lot less visible since the new entrance near Julios Store was built. We highly recommend not using this trail since we want to support Julios Store.
