This photo nicely illustrates the 2nd, and most unavoidable, detached death block on the climb. The block feature with the gear nestled in it is a terrible accident waiting to happen.

Avoid this variation of the finish to South Face. Go left, and belay under the "offwidth" on the SW corner and climb that.
