I have a ton of free time this summer and fall, most weekends and weekdays, and would love to get out and do some sierra classics. I've beeen climbing in the sierras for over a decade and have done a lot. I'd like to do some routes I haven't done yet, but I would be open to repeating classics too. Here are some routes that I am interested in:
North Buttress of Mt.Goode NE ridge of Bear Creek Spire East Ridge of Russel East Arete of Mt.Humphreys East face of Middle Pal ( attempted last week, turned around near the summit due to unstable snow over rock conditions ) The twilight pillar on Norman Clyde peak (can be combined with a trip to Middle Pal. Attempted last week, turned around halfway due to unstable snow over rock conditions ) East Arete of Split Mountain SE Face of Mt Emerson
And there are many more...
I live in Oakland. I have car, rack and ropes. If we get along, I could be pursuaded to make a trip to the cascades or the Wind River Range as well...
Looking for a partner for this weekend! Could take Monday and tuesday off too! I would love to drive up to the Valley, Toulumne, Calaveras or elsewhere with a partner from the by area!
