We are looking for a couple of climbers to work with us on a part-time basis mostly at Devil's Lake State Park near Baraboo, WI

Most times we need help with our larger groups belaying. Basically belay slaves. Well experienced climbers can become assistant or head guides.

Hours can range from 3.5-6-7hrs on a given day.

Experience with Kayaking and/or Caving can be a plus. This can be a great way for you to earn a little cash to pay for your Climbing fix at DL! We also have lodging available.

Please PM Me for details on hourly pay and more. Thanks and we look forward to meeting and working with you soon.

Not sure if you're already guiding at the lake, but if you're company is just starting to break into that market you should read this thread about guiding ethics at the lake. Nothing will damage your business like the local climbing community talking trash to everyone they know about you because you do things that piss everyone off, and nothing can help like good word of mouth advertising from them.

Also, there's 2 spots left in the PCIA Base Managed Climbing Instructor course June 13-15th at DLSP....

Hi, yes, we are very concerned about this and will never take a large group to the Classics or other congested areas. Thanks for the tip

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
