Getting to that left hand hold in order to clip turns the climb into a highball boulder problem. If you can get to that hold before clipping, why bother. Show some style and clip it from the small incuts and treat K-2 like the sport route that it is.

Our sport climbing "style" is determined by how difficult we can make the clipping stances? haha...I'm out!

Clipping at the first bolt. I would definitely recommend getting to that handhold above the first bolt before clipping.
