It's OK Matt... if he fell and the rope didn't unclip itself I doubt that bolt would do much to hold a fall... Good route!

yep. back clip alright. I kind of laugh at the concept though I try not too back clip. However this was never an issue the first 20 years I climbed and the first 30 years that guy leading climbed. Neither of us now with 75 years of combined climbing experience ever remember a biner unclipping (breaking yes, unclipping no). What is the actual statistical data on this back clipping? A case report, myth or actual science? I suspect the former. I do remember a case reported in climbing in the 1980's but that is the only case I ever heard about. Plus that bolt is shit so Andy is right.
