Any one been in to the Homestead in the last few days? Is it still 4 wheel drive access? How far is the walk if you don't have 4 wheel drive.

Still 4WD. Long hike if you can't make it.

I was there saturday 1/7/122 and it was worse than last year. The hike in along the road should take about 1.5-2 hrs to climbing, depending on how fast you hike with your gear.

That's not what I smelled.

I smell a big fat climbing ban when the guy who owns the private land in there gets tired of people trespassing across his property. I can't believe they published it and never said a word about the private land that surrounds the crag and respecting things. Hope that doesn't happen, but typical of climbing mag articles, unfortunately.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
